This is not U2’s way of pulling a “Taylor’s Version” of previously recorded tracks - they actually own 100% of their masters and copyrights.
And they don’t hold back - 40 tracks running over 2hrs and 46 minutes. I’m not the biggest U2 fan, but I do enjoy hearing acoustic versions of their biggest hits.
