High expectations for Olivia Rodrigo’s follow up album to 2021’s SOUR. Expectations met.

I can’t endorse the lyrical content - I’m either not interested when she’s trying to be deep - or I’m disappointed when I engage with a song and am confronted with an unnecessary f#%#k word. Engagement lost.

Still, this is a consistent and worthy work which merits the acclaim it’s receiving. Kudos to Rodrigo and producer Daniel Nigro (Caroline Polachek / Lewis Capaldi).
